Body For Life Update

I've stayed very close to the diet and exercise routine and I'm seeing and feeling GREAT results! It's exciting to feel my body change (and not get bigger!). Here's a list of things that I have always craved that I hardly notice missing:

milk
cereal (especially Corn Flakes)
chocolate
yummy gooey sweets

Here's another list of things I never thought I'd eat and enjoy:

peppers
red onions
lime juice
cabbage

I started out the challenge not doing the suggested weight lifting, but after a week I decided it would be necessary to stick with the whole plan. I've become better at lifting weights and have increased my weights from two cans of condensed mushroom soup to two large cans of peaches, and now I use three pound weights (just wait and see...I'll be as buff as Arnold Schwarzenegger soon).

I'm also following the Body for Life suggested cardio workout. I NEVER thought I would be interested in running (well, to be honest it's more of a meandering walk/jog).

So...at this point I am very pleased with this challenge. I like eating often (six times a day) because I feel even in my energy and consistent in my moods. I like exercising because it's a great jump start to my day. And I like having a "free day" to eat whatever I want.
