I found a woman on youtube who has a lot of great information about storing food. Her name is Wendy DeWitt. One way she recommends storing certain pantry items is by using a FoodSaver special attachment to seal mason jars. This works for things like chocolate chips and cake mixes. The kids thought it was fantastic to help me pack the mason jars with lots and lots of chocolate chips!
