What an adventure! We decided to leave Sunday evening around 10. We hadn't planned to leave so early (late?) but Ben and I were too excited to sleep. So we packed up the kiddos and my mom and started the loooong journey to Anaheim. The ride went well. The kids slept most of the night and by the time we got to our hotel around 2 pm on Monday, they were ready to party. Ben had driven the whole way (crazy, huh?) so I took the kiddos out to the pool while he took a long nap. That evening we took a walk to Downtown Disney. There was a lot of interesting stuff there!
The next morning, everyone was up by 5 am (thank you daylight savings time). The problem was that Disneyland didn't open until 10. We had a bit of a wait! Once we finally got in, we ran to Peter Pan and continued through Fantasyland and Mickey's Toon Town.
Then we returned to the hotel for our naptime. But, unfortunately, we were all too excited to rest much!
