Decorating the tree is always exciting and fun! It's the beginning of a month full of traditions related to Christmas. This year was exceptionally special because all three of the children are at perfect ages to fully enjoy the Holiday Spirit. Kierlsey loved putting ornaments into our advent calendar. Benji thought it was fun pretending to be Santa Claus (ho, ho, ho). And Acacia enjoyed playing with the tree. We made lots of chocolate covered pretzels - a perfect treat for the kids to help make and deliver. And we talked a lot about the true meaning of Christmas. I tried to keep our festivities simple and enjoyable, yet still found myself a little too busy. So next year again, we will simply simplify some more!
