The Sleeping Quandary

Kiersley and Benji share a room. It's a small room, there's not a lot of extra space. We're also planning to put Acacia in the same small room as soon as she's sleeping through the night. Sooooo, to increase our sleeping area, we bought the older kids a bunk bed. But they don't like the bunk bed (which we're currently using as a psuedo dresser). Sooooo, Kiersley usually sleeps on the crib mattress and Benji still sleeps in his play pen. But apparently these spots aren't good enough...because the other night K insisted on sleeping in the laundry basket. After she fell asleep, Ben tried to transfer her to the mattress...but she woke up and said she wanted to stay in the laundry basket. We didn't hear from her again until right around midnight. She decided it wasn't so comfortable after all.

You will learn two important things about me with this post. Yes, my three year old still uses a binkie. And yes, my children often go to bed in their clothes. It cuts back on laundry :)

  1. I think you should keep Kiersley in the laundry basket... then you could fit a fourth child in the kids room! =) Plus, it's portable- what a great perk!
